Charles E. Hostetter ("Gene") has been an attorney in private practice since 1976. He began his practice in Brownsburg, Indiana then, and has been in the same community since. His practice areas include probate and estate planning, family law, school law, and business matters. He presently serves as the Brownsburg Town Court Judge. His clients represented include family corporations and limited liability companies, a school corporation, two fire districts, local businesses and non-profit entities, and numerous individuals in the community and the county. He also previously served as attorney for the County Division of Family and Children for many years.

Personal: Gene was born October 6, 1946. He is married, has four grown children, and is a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army.

Education: He attended Northwestern University and Indiana University where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree. He received his Juris Doctorate from Washington University in St. Louis.

Mark S. O'Hara

Mark S. O'Hara has been practicing law since 1985. His law career started as in-house counsel to American Fletcher National Bank (now Chase Bank) and with USA Funds (a student loan guarantor). In 1992, Mark joined Charles Hostetter in practice and since then has concentrated his practice in business law matters, including financing and tax issues related to business law, construction law issues, and municipal and local government law. He is also adept in a wide variety of other law issues, including employment law and employee benefit issues, simple and complex estate planning, and education law matters. Mark's list of clients represented, include municipalities and other government agencies, many businesses, including sole proprietorships, several financial institutions, partnerships, and corporations of all size, individuals, several governmental entities, and several churches or other ministries.

Mark is also no stranger to the courtroom, or to the appeals process. He has successfully defended appeals to the Indiana Supreme Court level. He has litigated complex cases successfully and also has successfully assisted clients through workouts or compromises with the IRS.

Personal: Mark was born April 30, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio. He has been married to his wife Sharon since 1980, has a daughter who lives in the Northern Virginia area, and a son who after serving as a U.S. Marine is now pursuing his college degree.

Education: Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree in business and finance from Ohio State University in 1980. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1985 from Indiana University School of Law.

Matthew E. Dumas

Matthew E. Dumas ("Matt") has been practicing law in Indiana since 2004. Matt practiced with civil litigation firms in Indianapolis from 2004 until 2008. From 2008 until 2010, Matt was an attorney with the Indiana Securities Division where he enforced Indiana's mortgage broker and securities laws. While at the Securities Division, Matt was also sworn in as a special deputy prosecutor to handle high profile securities fraud cases, including one tried before a jury in Franklin County where defendant was convicted on all 3 counts. In 2010, Matt joined Hostetter & O'Hara and since then has concentrated his practice in personal injury law, family law, wills & estate administration, small business matters, civil litigation, and securities litigation.

Education: Matt received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing from Depauw University. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
